Jill Emerson is lead singer of pop rock band Diamond and a founding member of Berlin-based dance theater company Constanza Macras/Dorky Park, which has received international acclaim while performing in festivals and theaters around the world. Emerson has assisted Macras with teaching workshops for Theater der Welt, Stromerein Performance Festival Zurich, JointAdventures Munich, and Attakalari Centre for Movement Arts in Bangalore, India. She has acted in numerous films and videos, including starring in a video campaign for Nike Women’s clothing for Milan Fashion week. Currently she is developing new work with up and coming directors such as Margret Sara Gudjonsdottir of Panic Productions and filmmaker Micah Magee.
